Sweeping sandy bay seen from a grassy hillside

Local area

Walks, coves and good places to eat, all within a short drive or a stroll from the quay.

Tamsford sits at the mouth of a small river on the South Devon coast. Leave the car behind: the coast path starts at the end of the quay, and the town is small enough to walk everywhere.

Walking maps and tide times are at reception. We can make up a packed lunch if you ask the evening before.
